Ron Book and his Bimbo Daughter, Lauren, is still causing the homeless Registrant crisis in Miami-Dade County

This unique homeless crisis is the direct result of Ron's and Lauren's persoalvendett against anyone forced to register. They used to go to homeless camps created by their policies and laugh and hold press conferences. They are truly disgusting people.

72% of the City of Miami’s unsheltered homeless are on the sex offender registry!

Last week we wrote about a new law going into effect in the City of Miami (Florida) that allows for the immediate arrest of homeless registrants in the city. (READ: https://floridaactioncommittee.org/miami-makes-people-homeless-and-then-arrests-them-for-being-homeless/).

FAC sent a letter to the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust asking what provisions are being made for the homeless registrants who cannot live (according to State Statute and County Ordinance) in the overwhelming portion of the City. We are yet to receive a response to our letter, but given the fact that all our outreach to the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust, Miami-Dade County Commissioners, and City of Miami Commissioners have gone unanswered, we are not surprised.

To add a bit of context to the problem (and possibly some insight into why the lawmakers and government entity don’t seem to care about this issue), here’s an important statistic: 72% of the unsheltered are registrants. According to statistics published in a recent article, there are currently 605 unsheltered in the City of Miami. 437 of them are on the registry!

Here they are: Miami Homeless Registrants … and yes, all the absconded, confined and deceased have been removed from the count.

That’s nearly three-quarters of the homeless people in the City of Miami are on the registry! The Miami-Dade Homeless Trust has an annual budget of $137.8 Million and a staff of 26 people! With all those resources they’ve done ZERO to address this problem?

Surprise! Lauren Book is STILL taking in GEO Group blood money

Lauren Book revels in human suffering. When Lauren and her POS father forced Registered Persons to live in squalor under the Julia Tuttle Causeway, she went there in person an smiled and laughed at the homeless that SHE put there. 

She claims to care about the children, but she collects money from GEO Group, the same group that ran a juvenile facility that was shut doewn due to rampant physical and sexual abuse in Louisiana. When confronted about this abuse from one of her bigest donors, she simply brushed off the news. 

I would not be surprised if it came out she has been to these immigration CONCENTRATION CAMPS and reveled in watching people suffer. I believe the Book Crime Family beyond being simply indifferent to human suffering. No. I believe that they ENJOY watching other people suffer. By promoting supporting the laws the drive people into homelessness and taking blood money from abusing private prison companies, they have forced thousands of people into homelessness and support locking up and abusing detainees. They are downright evil.

I propose the Book Crime Family be stripped of their ill-gotten wealth and deported to Israel.

Other contributions included $26,000 from private prison operator The GEO Group.... and $10,000 ... from ... CDR Enterprises, a Miami-based emergency management company.

CDR and The GEO Group have been the subject of some South Florida political food-fighting among Democratic candidates, as both companies have worked with state and federal agencies in arresting and detaining immigrants throughout Florida, including at the now-shuttered Alligator Alcatraz complex in the Everglades.
